When you are busy do your priorities change? Intellectually we know to put value on our own well-being – put on our own oxygen masks first before helping others – but often our needs slip down to the bottom of the list when we are busy. So for those of you juggling in these school holidays, or with general life busyness, here is a question. Where can you put 10 minutes into your day, just for you? and what will you do that energizes, nourishes, relaxes or revives you? Is it 10 minutes stretching, meditating, walking, dancing, brainstorming on a piece of paper to unload your brain, taking deep breaths or like my daughter practicing your handstands?
Whatever you choose, make a choice and take 10. Everyone will benefit.
