You care deeply about the work you do

And yet, something isn’t sitting quite right anymore.

You might be finding that:

You’re not alone in this. And you don’t have to navigate it on your own either.

This is where
I come in

I’m Jill — a professional supervisor, a work wellbeing coach and an occupational therapist.

I support people in helping professions to find clarity, steadiness, and a way forward that actually fits — both professionally and personally.

Emerge offers you a space to pause, think clearly, and reconnect with what matters — without pressure to have everything figured out.

Experience that understands your
reality

Alongside my professional training, I understand the realities you’re navigating.

I’m a wife, a mother of four, and grandmother to two — and I know what it’s like to juggle work alongside the demands of family life, shifting roles, and competing responsibilities.

Professionally, I’ve worked across private practice, hospital systems, and teams that were, at times, stretched to their limits. I’ve supported a wide range of professionals and clients, both in New Zealand and overseas.

With more than 25 years of experience in supervision — and running my own professional supervision practice since 2010 — I understand both the meaning and the strain that can come with working in helping professions.

I also understand the value of flexibility, sustainability, and creating ways of working that support your whole life — not just your role.

How I work
with you

My approach is empathetic, empowering, and grounded in real-world understanding.

In our work together, you can expect:

Why this work matters to me

I’ve seen how easy it is for capable, caring professionals to become stretched, disconnected and overwhelmed — not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because the demands of the work are real.

I’ve also seen what becomes possible when there’s space to reflect, recalibrate, and move forward with intention.

This work matters to me because it supports not just your professional effectiveness with your clients, but your wellbeing, your sustainability, and your sense of direction over time.

The kind of change we’re working towards

Clients often come to me feeling unsure, overloaded, or at a crossroads.

Over time, what tends to shift is:

Sometimes that leads to change within your current role.

Sometimes it opens the door to something new.

Either way, the goal is the same — work that feels more sustainable, more aligned, and more like yours again.
